News and Notes:
Advent Service
We will lead worship on Wednesday, December 19th at 10am and 7pm. We will begin practicing in the church for our service next week. PLEASE PRACTICE YOUR CHILD'S INDIVIDUAL SPEAKING PART FOCUSING ON LOUD AND SLOW.
For the morning service, your child can just wear regular school uniform, but for the evening service, your child can wear church clothes.
Please have your child in the church basement that night at 6:50pm.
Christmas Party
We will be helping at a local food pantry and details are still being sorted out. We will also celebrate Jesus' birthday in our classroom on December 21st. If you would like to help, please let me know!
Cereal Boxes
We need 100 cereal boxes by the end of January. Pease help by saving your empty boxes and sending them to school!

Basketball in PE
Basketball at Recess
We decided with partners whether animals use their body parts to live and grow or to make their lives easier.
Then we decided which animals used their body parts to sense surroundings, catch & eat food, move from place to place, and stay safe.
Bobcat Pit fun at recess.
Making a book about what we eat on different days of the week.
Discovery Table Wonders: an ostrich egg, bird nests, plant roots, and rocks!
Practicing our Spelling sentence.
Finishing up our nativity!
Learning about even and odd numbers with pennies!
We made a book called: How do you use it?
We wrote about how an animal uses a body part and then made up a funny way they could use it too!
Indoor recess
We sorted words that had the short a middle sound and those that don't!
We came up with secret numbers to see if our partner could guess what they were!
We are talking about how animals find, catch and eat food! We pretended we were frogs and tried to catch insects. It was very difficult!
Counting dimes and pennies!
Another BUSY week! :-)
