News and Notes:
Spring Musical
Grades 1- 3 will be performing A Technicolor Promise on May 5 at 6pm. Please have your child in the church basement at 5:45pm. Children are to wear khaki bottoms (pants, shorts, skirt) and a t-shirt. We have a special colored shirt for each child to wear that night over the shirt they show up in.
Scholastic Book Order
Scholastic Book Orders are in your child's Friday folder. This is our last book order for the year. Reading over the summer is so important! Now is your chance to stock up. Please use activation code GVN8W. Go to this link when ordering: scholastic.com/readingclub Orders are due by the end of next week to ensure they will be here before the end of the school year.
Baby Pictures
Please send me a digital picture of your child as a baby. If you do not have a digital picture, I can scan it and return the photo to you! We will need these adorable pictures to help us learn about a sound we will see in words!
Reading Logs
Your child's reading log in the back sleeve of their red folder will still be sent home for the next couple of weeks. If your child has told me they haven't read the book, I will keep that one in there until it is read. It is a lot of work each week to get those books ready for each child. It will save me some time if I don't get a new one every time they haven't even read the one that was in there first. Thank you for your understanding.
