News and Notes:
Easter Break
Maundy Thursday, April 13th, is a full day of school. We will have an Easter break on Good Friday, April 14th and Monday, April 17th.
Grades 1-3 Musical
The Spring Musical, A Technicolor Promise, is set for May 5th at 6:00pm. Dress for the night of the performance will be khaki bottoms (pants, shorts, or skirt). Please have your child wear a t-shirt that night as we will give them a shirt to wear over it that night.
Grades 1-3 Musical Set
We need students to help with creating the set for our musical. If your child would like to help us on Tuesday, April 18th, please use the link to go the Google Doc to sign up. Only 10 students from our class are able to help out. If your child is participating in creating the set, please have them meet under the pavilion in the parking lot after school. Please send in paint clothes to change into. Pick up is at 4:00pm in the church basement.

Collecting Aluminum Cans
Nathan, a second grader in our school, has a cousin in Romania who is undergoing leg surgery as he was born without a tibia in both legs. His boy scout troop is collecting cans to help cover the cost of his cousin's surgery. A large bin will be in our classroom next week to put aluminum cans in.
Lids and Caps
We are continuing to collect plastic caps and lids. The boys and girls are doing a wonderful job as we have had to empty it two times already! Keep bringing them in! The 6th graders are collecting them to get a bench for our playground!
