Friendship Salad
On Tasty Tuesday, we will celebrate healthy eating by creating a Friendship Salad. Each child will need to bring in 1 cup of fruit to add to our salad. We will enjoy a healthy snack together!
Family Banners
Directions for your chid's Family Banner is in the Friday folder. Please help your child to create the banner and return it to school ASAP. It says to return it by the beginning of the week, but Friday we will share them so by then is fine, too! Just wanted to give you the weekend to work on it in case your week nights are extra busy!
Magic House Field Trip
The Magic House will be here on Friday, April 28th, to teach us about Recycling. Thank you to the parents who volunteered at the beginning of the year: Matt Cooseman, Jaime Lane, Dawn Walgate, Beth Frahlman, Jamie Ellison. Please meet in the church basement by 12:30 to be trained by the Magic House. They will train you to run your station from 12:30-1pm. The students will arrive from 1-2 to engage in the activities. Volunteers will stay to help Magic House clean/pack up. If you are unable to help, please let me know as I will need to get another volunteer ASAP.
Baby Pictures
Please send me a digital picture of your child as a baby. If you do not have a digital picture, I can scan it and return the photo to you! We will need these adorable pictures to help us learn about a sound we will see in words!
Water Stand
The 6th graders are heading up our plastic lid collection to buy benches for our playground. They will have a Water Stand on Tuesday, April 25th. Your child can buy a bottle of water and a flavor packet for $1.00. The lid, of course, will be added to the collection as they enjoy a yummy drink!
Spring Musical Wear
Dress for the night of the musical is a t shirt and khaki bottoms (skirt, shorts, pants). We have a special shirt we will give the children to wear over the t-shirt.
