Veteran's Day Service
Mon, Nov 11 | 8:15-8:45 am | Sanctuary
Zion Lutheran Junior High conducts a Veteran’s Day service every year, and we are excited to extend an invitation for anyone to join us.  The Boy Scouts will conduct a flag ceremony, and following the service all veterans are invited to stay for a group photo and accept our appreciation for their service.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Wednesday, November 20 is our Thanksgiving Food Drive.  We support the seminarian food bank for the month of November.  Seminarians are men studying to be pastors.  We provide 20 Thanksgiving meals to seminarian families unable to go home for Thanksgiving.  First Grade is bringing in:
Stuffing and Boxed Potatoes (mashed, sweet, slices, etc.)
See the flyer in your child's Friday folder.

Sport Statcking Equipment
Sport Stacking equipment is available for purchase.  Mrs. Steinbacher has a selection of Standard Cups and StackMats available for purchase.  A set of 12 standard cups may be purchased for 20.  The StackMats are $25.   There is no tax or shipping.  You may ary with a check made out to Speed Stacks, or you may pay cash.  The items may be picked up directly from Mrs. Steinbacher.  These make great Christmas gifts!  Contact Mrs. Steinbacher at  msteinbacher@zionharvester.org with any questions.

Memory Work
I have noticed many students do not know Memory Work lately.  Today there were several who didn't know it so I practiced with several.  However, most weeks I don't have time to do that.  Please make it a part of your regular routine to practice the verse.
