We need styrofoam and plastic egg cartons for an upcoming STEAM lab project. Please save those and send them in if you have them!

Thank you so much for taking the time to meet with me for parent/teacher conferences. It's a very short time but I really appreciate learning more about your child from you. Talking with you gives me insight to your child which is so helpful. It's hard getting to know 23 first graders when I am the only adult, when they came from a smaller Kindergarten class with 2 adults to get to know them the year before, so I value the time we had to chat about your child.

Zion Lutheran Junior High conducts a Veteran’s Day service every year, and we are excited to extend an invitation for anyone to join us. The Boy Scouts will conduct a flag ceremony, and following the service all veterans are invited to stay for a group photo and accept our appreciation for their service.

World Cupstacking Day
Our Zion students will once again take part in World Sport Stacking Day and help
set a Guinness World Record for “The most people sport stacking in multiple
locations on one day”. On Thursday, Nov. 14, people all over the world will
participate in this event. Zion will contribute about 250 sport stackers of the
624,391 participants needed to break the previous record set in 2018.
Volunteers are needed throughout the day. Please contact Melinda Steinbacher
at msteinbacher@zionharvester.org if you have time to help out.
