Scholastic Book Order

Donuts for Dads
Join us from 7-7:45am on Wednesday, January 11th in the church basement for a donut treat with dads. Dads are invited to stay for Chapel at 8:10am.
One Hundredth Day
We will celebrate our 100th day on Friday, January 27th. We need many helpers to help prep and run stations. Mrs. Christy Wegener is graciously planning this day for us. If you are able to help with this day, please email her at: wegenerchristi@gmail.com. We need about 12 volunteers between the two first grade classes. If you are not able to help that day, but want to donate or do prep work, please email Christy Wegener.
Cereal Boxes
We are still collecting cereal boxes! Please send them in as we will use those for our 100th Day and Valentines Day, too!
We Sing
We sing in church on Saturday, February 4th at the 5pm service. Please mark your calendar!
Tie Shoes
They boys and girls are working on tying shoes independently. I have told them since the beginning of the school year that I will help tie shoes until Valentines Day. They still have one more month until that date!
National Lutheran Schools Week
During the week of January 23-27 we will celebrate being a Lutheran school with all lutheran schools across the nation! We have special dress up days:
Monday: P.J. Day
- Wear pajamas/sweats
- May bring one stuffed animal/pillow
- May wear slippers (bring change of shoes for outside)
Tuesday: Fake Injury Day
- Throw on your bandages and slings we are all broken today
- No injuries that impair your ability to function and/or cause a mess
- Jeans optional
Wednesday: Character Day
- Dress up as a favorite Bible, book, or movie character
- Jeans optional
Thursday: Ultimate Spirit Day
- Do you have the Spirit in you?
- Wear your Red, White, and Black to show your Zion Lutheran School Spirit
- Jeans optional
Friday: Holiday Day
- Bring out your cheesy holiday gear and show your festive fun
- Ideas: 4th of July, Easter, Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving, or all of the above!
