A BIG THANK YOU to the parents who chaperoned the field trip! We had warm weather, good presentations, planted seeds, and exploring the garden was so much fun, too! Take a look at all the pictures from the field trip in the Photo Gallery. Thank you to parents who shared pictures!
Friday Folder
There may be several CAR papers in your child's folder this time. Since we only had 3 days of school this week, I ran out of time to work with children to fix things or time for reteaching. Please help your child correct things so that he/she has an understanding of where the mistake was made. Return to school on Monday so that I can check it. Thank you!
Leveled Reading Books
On Mondays your child will bring home a book to read for Familiar Reading. Your child should be able to read it with minimal help. Please refer to the info and tips I sent with the book last week. Please have your child read these books each week. They should read them several times to build fluency and self confidence. Initial on the Reading log next to the title and feel free to leave comments for me on your child's progress. Please keep the log in your child's folder so that I can fill out a new title each week. Send the books back on Fridays. Each week your child will receive a new book.
Harvest Party Service Project
