The Zion Lutheran Cheer Squad is hosting a cheer clinic on Friday, March 27th from 3– 6:00pm in the Zion gym for grades K-8th. We will divide the girls into age groups where participants will learn age appropriate stunts, cheers, and cheer techniques. The girls will perform for family and friends at 5:45 in the gym. Cost: $30, includes Zion Lutheran Cheer t-shirt ($30 fee will be added to your Joyful Response tuition account). Registration is due by Sunday, March 8th. We encourage all 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls interested in cheering at Zion next year to attend. We will have an informational meeting directly following the clinic. (We will only open registration to current 4th graders if squad size allows.)

Song of the Week: Good Morning, by Mandisa

This week in Jesus Time we talked about Jesus healing the 10 lepers, and only one man came back to thank Jesus for healing him. First graders learned that when we pray, we shouldn't only ask God for things we want, but thank Him for everything He provides us with every day. Good Morning, by Mandisa, is a great way to be thankful each morning for the things that God has given us. I encourage you to not only listen to this song with your child, but also ask them what they are thankful for that God has provided in their life! 

Third Quarter ends this Friday and report cards will be send home next Friday.

I hope you are taking time this Lent to spend time as a family around God's Word.  I would encourage you to compliment that family devotion time with weekend worship.
