Photo Gallery:

Natalia, a student from Lutheran High, came to visit.
She has cancer and so we have been praying for her and sending her cards.  It was so fun to see her!

Enjoying the nice weather outside!

6th Graders came and put on some puppet plays that they wrote.
We really enjoyed them!

Fun in PE

In Writing Workshop, we had to make sure our
readers could understand our story.

Finishing our Chinese Lanterns from their Lantern Festival.
We continued to learn about traditions.

We practiced using I and ME in sentences.

We had someone who had never read our stories read them.
They gave us advice on whether it made sense or not.

Then we went back and made the
changes we needed to our stories.

The 2nd-4th Grade Spelling Bee

Painting our Pinch Pots

We worked on our Family Traditions posters

The 4th Graders have been learning the Recorder this year so they put on a concert for us.  They were good!

We taught each other about our writing topic so that we could see if there was anything else we needed to add to our writing.

More fun in PE

Voting on how to use our 10 Stars

We had a guest reader, a retired teacher of 44 years, come in and read a story and sing a song with us.
He also happens to be my dad.  :-)

It's been a great week!
One more week to go!
