Sight Words
I will be testing quarter 2 sight words for second quarter report cards.  If your child missed any in the first quarter, I will be testing those as well.

Advent Speaking Part
PLEASE help your first grader practice their Advent Speaking Part LOUD and SLOW.  Have your child practice saying it with another person so he/she can feel confident saying it with another person.

Christmas Service Project Field Trip
Our Christmas Party will be visiting St. Matthews in St. Louis and throwing the first graders there a Christmas Party.  We will also leave a birthday cake for Jesus for their After school program.  Zion is designating our Chapel offering to helping St. Matthews this school year.  They can use our support.  A field trip form is in your child's Friday Folder.  Please fill it out and return it ASAP.  Please also consider donating a school supply item.  I spoke with someone there and he said they could use supplies.

Advent Service
We will lead worship WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th at 10am and 7pm.   We will begin practicing in the church for our service on Monday.   For the  morning service, the class should wear their uniforms.  For the evening, wear church clothes or uniform -no jeans please. Please have your child to the church basement on Wednesday night at 6:50pm.
