News and Notes:

Grandparents/VIP Day
Friday, March 14 is the upcoming date. Please let you grandparent or special guest know about the schedule that was in the invitation.  Our class will be performing What I Like Best in the Talent Show.  We will end the day in Church.  The students will be dismissed from the church, so if the child's grandparent is not taking him/her home please come into the church to pick up your child.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND BACKPACKS to school on Friday.  Friday Folders will come home on Thursday.  I look forward to spending sometime with our Grandparents and special guests.

Book Fair
Next week we will be going to the Book Fair Wednesday morning.  If your child would like to purchase a book please send money in an envelope with your child's name on the front.  I will collect the envelopes and help children make purchases.

The BOOK FAIR WILL BE OPEN ON GRANDPARENT'S DAY.  Grandparents may take the child to the book fair before school beginning at 7:30 or during the classroom time on Grandparent's Day.  I would suggest before school, as during the class time is very busy.

Grade 1-3 Musical
The First-Third Grade Musical is May 2.  Please plan on attend that evening.  If your child is not able to attend please let Mrs. Roehrig know.

Achievement Testing
Achievement Test will take place March 31-April 4.  Please make every effort to have your child in school that week!

Spring Pictures
The Spring picture proofs are in the Friday Folders if you would like to order pictures please return the form by next Friday, March 14.
Zion Auction
The auction is April 4.  It would be great to see first grade families there!  It is a fun night and you could bid on our class artwork.  Invitations have been put in the mail or you can pick on up in the office.  We hope you can make it!
