Special Pizza Lunch
The first grade teachers would like to provide a picnic lunch on Wednesday.  We will provide pizza and drinks.  If you could volunteer to help pick up the pizza and bring it back by 11:15 on Wednesday please email me asap.

Last Day of School
The last day of school is Friday, May 24th. The kids do not need backpacks on Friday.
Please join us for Chapel and our closing awards ceremony.  Chapel begins at 8:05am and school is dismissed at 10:00am.  Following dismissal is the Fun Fair.

Family Fun Fair
Look for information about the Family Fun Fair in the Banner!

Cleaning Out Desks
Please send an extra bag to school on Thursday to help carry all of our desk goodies home.

Vacation Bible School
Kingdom Rocks - Where kids stand strong for God! We encourage you to come to Zion’s VBS and bring a friend!  This is an awesome experience and a great way for your child to grow in his/her faith.  VBS is June 10th-14th.  We hope to see you there!

Artsonia
Watch for their "End of the Year" sale on portfolio books.  This is a great way to save your child’s artwork from this year.  By Monday, all artwork from this year should be uploaded and published on Artsonia.  Zion gets a percentage of each purchase and we use that for first grade art supplies.

Special Days Next Week
Monday - Inside Games - Children may bring one board/card game to play at school
Tuesday - Read-a-thon - Children may bring 5 books, one pillow and one blanket to "get comfy" and read.
Wednesday - Special Pizza Lunch
